Happy Friday! I hope your week is running smoothly because the weekend is almost here! The leather jacket is a must have for its rugged vibe and easy comfort. I can't seem to stir away from my leather jacket lately. This time I styled it with a super soft Recycled Karma top from Urban Outfitters that says "Believe in the Unknown". This quote reminds me to have an open mind and a positive attitude because there is still so much to learn in life let alone on earth. I decided to wear one of my favorite pairs of jeans, the Rally Cargo skinny jeans from rag + bone! They have six awesome pockets, leather panels that curve at the calf (That are like nothing I've seen before!), and seams outline the knees giving a tailored fit. Think of them as your modern day cargo pants, which go perfect with the Classic Newbury Booties. There's nothing better than a sleek pair of aviators to top off this rocking look! Hello lovely readers! I know it has been a while since the last time I made a post, I have been busier than a bee and I just want to say "Thank you so much for your support". I have been seeing lots of longer length sweaters in the stores lately, which I feel is a perfect trend for fall. Especially now that the climate has been getting cooler and days are getting shorter. I love this sweater from J Crew, it is very thick and feels like being wrapped in a blanket! I was immediately obsessed with these Lace-Trim slip shorts from the moment I saw them at UO, the pale pink color adds a sweet vibe matched with the scalloped lace trim. Just because it is fall and we are already in October it does not mean you have to put those shorts away just yet. You can still wear a crop top and shorts, by simply adding over the knee socks you have yourself a perfectly layered fall look. I cannot seem to stay away from the Petty Suede booties! They are so easy to slip on for your everyday comfort, lending a western feel that I love. All the lace and neutral end up looking very sweet and that is not a bad thing. To add a tough touch I chose the House of Harlow engraved station necklace that adds just enough silver and gold metal. The Station bag from Coach tops off this sweet look with a dash of black smooth leather. I love that many amazing designers like DVF, Rag+Bone, and Marc Jacobs have collaborated with Target to make stylish and affordable collections conveniently at your disposition. L'Amour by Nanette Lepore can be found at JC Penny which is pretty great too. I love the cloud like print on this dress and its color combination that remind me of the 70's. Recently I noticed that Iggy Azalea wore this vintage Paloma Picasso belt on her cover of The New Classic and immediately I was inspired to finally wear mine! I so wish my friend was back in town with her beautiful Paloma cross body, if you’re reading this I shall borrow it next time! Nonetheless Tory Burch did the job with this simple handbag and gold detail. I wanted to go for a modern 70’s look with a bit of edge and a girly touch which I feel I accomplished with the accessories. I kept it chic with cat-eye sunnies and Mary Jane patent leather heels, but a bold pink lip tops off this look! S U M M E R L O V I N'Lately, all I have been wanting to wear are high waist shorts for their comfortable fit and retro vibe that are ideal for summer. I also have been in a Free People vibe lately which must be since working at Urban Outfitters, here is my girly-gypsy look. This hot pink silk camisole is extremely comfortable and simple with a lace twist that I love, especially since I got it on Maxwell Street Days. These vintage shorts you may have seen me style in the past, I just love the embroidered roses that run along the sides. I layered this thin cardigan that screams fairytale with its scalloped trims and floral details. The accessories take this look to the next level with lots of sterling silver details and pops of turquoise complemented with Oui Madame Essie polish. The Petty Suede Booties from Sam Edelman add a western feel paired with frilly socks for a girly touch. To top off this look I chose a beige Dooney and Bourke bag that adds a nice rugged leather texture and of course round sunnies. Have a great rest of the week!
