Hello lovely readers! I know it has been a while since the last time I made a post, I have been busier than a bee and I just want to say "Thank you so much for your support". I have been seeing lots of longer length sweaters in the stores lately, which I feel is a perfect trend for fall. Especially now that the climate has been getting cooler and days are getting shorter. I love this sweater from J Crew, it is very thick and feels like being wrapped in a blanket! I was immediately obsessed with these Lace-Trim slip shorts from the moment I saw them at UO, the pale pink color adds a sweet vibe matched with the scalloped lace trim. Just because it is fall and we are already in October it does not mean you have to put those shorts away just yet. You can still wear a crop top and shorts, by simply adding over the knee socks you have yourself a perfectly layered fall look. I cannot seem to stay away from the Petty Suede booties! They are so easy to slip on for your everyday comfort, lending a western feel that I love. All the lace and neutral end up looking very sweet and that is not a bad thing. To add a tough touch I chose the House of Harlow engraved station necklace that adds just enough silver and gold metal. The Station bag from Coach tops off this sweet look with a dash of black smooth leather. There is nothing I love more than enjoying ice cream on a hot summer day. I have a few favorites from chocolate chip, butter pecan, and the classic Neapolitan. When I saw this swan pleat jumpsuit I could only think of ice cream. The pink, vanilla, and chocolate color-block adds playful volume to an otherwise structured suit. Classic pumps elongate your legs while the nude patent leather complements the hidden chocolate panel adding a shiny texture. A sequined bag adds all the shine and sparkle that is missing in this simply chic look. Simple pearl stud earrings top off this look that is perfect for a day in the 'Windy City'. There are times when all you want is to feel like a lady, this calls for pastels, floral, and of course the precious pearls. Here peach is really doing it for me it feels refreshing for summer. The crop top has been a huge trend this year which I am a fan of. In my opinion the crop top looks best styled with anything high-waist just showing the mid-rib area. This silk skirt is my best friend right now; its color, cut, and fabric make it an ideal skirt for me. A neat bun will keep your hair out of the way on a hot day as well as show off your pretty face and pearls. When going for a fresh vibe, neutrals are a nice combination such as the beige bag and off white pumps. To top off this look white cat-eye sunnies are the cherry on top. Tip: Choose a bright polish for your nails, I chose OPI Cajun Shrimp. Your Everyday Girl Top: Urban Outfitters Skirt: Contrarian NY Heels: Nine West Bag: Coach Sunnies: ALDO
One of my favorite pieces this spring has been the denim jacket. The denim jacket is ideal for spring weather you need a layer of warmth or not First thing is choosing between a dark or light wash, which in my opinion are both a must have in your wardrobe. Here I chose the light wash since I paired a pastel stripe top and pink shorts. The Broken-In Chino City Fit are my favorite fit ever, they are extremely comfortable with the right length for work. Keep it fresh with a white statement necklace. Comfort is always on my mind especially when it comes to shoes! Cole Haan has just the right cushion for the pushing. Beige complements this pastel look so I of course topped it off with my favorite D&B bag.
