S A B O S K I R TIt is the lovely weekend again, I could not be happier! After working all week, I can finally sleep in and cuddle with my favorite blanket. This dress from Sabo Skirt is extremely comfortable, the crochet details add just enough texture to the neon teal color. Zara always gets it right, especially with the wide heel holographic strappy sandal. I love how the colors bounce off of them. In honor of the weekend I decided to style this chain-mail bag from BCBG Max Azria. At a glance it appears to be a simple yellow cross body, but it has a subtle iridescent finish that is great for this look. Minimalism goes a long way, that's why I kept the jewelry simple with stud earrings and my two favorite silver rings. White framed sunnies add a fun statement to your face and covers the bright and shining sun! What are your weekend plans, and what do you plan on wearing? I hope your weekend is full of glamour! T A K E O N T H E W O R L DHello lovely readers! I have been very busy with work now that I have gotten another sales position at a local shoe and consignment business called (Shoo). I have been learning tons about brands like Geoffrey Campbell, Bedstu, and Bernie Mev to name a few as well as what goes on behind the scenes of a shoe store as oppose to strictly clothing. This is very interesting to me in order to continue developing in the fashion industry. It is that time of the year again when everyone is out shopping for school supplies and scrambling to enjoy the last bit of this wonderful thing called summer. What you may not know is that I took time off from continuing with school and needless to say it has been harder and harder to just go and get it done. At first I was just clueless as to what I wanted to set my mind on, but now that I realize fashion is what I am most passionate about I feel it is necessary to make a career out of it! I will keep you updated on the process it will take to conquer this "fear" of going back-to-school. School also means fall is surely on its way, but keep a positive perspective because it brings dark layers that I must confess I have missed. I love the school-girl look because anyone can do it! It is as simple as putting a cute blouse and skater skirt together with a few accessories. I love the peter-pan collar on this top and its lace details that set the mood for this entire look. For those cloudy days that tend to get chilly these over-the-knee suspender tights from Urban Outfitters will look adorable while adding a subtle layer of warmth! The Etienne Aigner Zane pump is not just your average black pump, the adorable bow details are topped off with a gold emblem that add a little something that I love, did I mention how comfy they are? The finishing touches are a classic Coach bag and a watch is always good to have incase your phone runs out of batteries or can't use it in class! What are you looking forward to this September? I am looking forward to witnessing another beautiful change of seasons! Have a great day! xoxo, Your Everyday Girl Top: Simply Vera Wang Skirt: KNIT KNIT by Kova and T Heels: Etienne Aigner Tights: Urban Outfitters Bag: Coach Watch: Eaton
P R E - F A L L These last couple of days I've been in a dark kind of mood with maroon, plum, and navy colors that are ideal for the upcoming fall. I styled this plum silky maxi with a beige halter top keeping in mind it is light for summer with a hint of fall fashion. I normally would not be very inclined to a halter top, but I love how this one fits loosely and comfortably giving a boho vibe. The details are what originally drew me to this top from the delicate floral embroidery to the crochet scalloped trim. Copper details enhance this look adding that shine and texture that was missing. What I love about the maxi skirt is that you can dress it up with heels for the weekend or tone it down with cute sandals. Have a great rest of your week! WE MAY NEVER BE ROYALS...BUT WE CAN DRESS LIKE IT!Some days a girl just feels like putting on a cute outfit and dancing all night long. Thank God the weekend is here and what better time to dress up than on a lovely summer Saturday. The Eternity Romper really has all you need for a going-out look. The sheer lace is a romantic contrast to crisp faille on this multi-texture romper from Lover, which gains a vintage element from the ruffled high collar. Knife pleats detail the shorts, and the hidden zip secures the sheer mesh back for a sexy finish. The lace details captivate your eyes, which is why I chose very precise and minimal styling. Pearl stud earrings lends a feminine touch that complement the Oui Madame Essie nail polish I cannot seem to get enough of. Every girl needs a basic strappy sandal in her wardrobe, but since we cannot have them all, I would recommend a nude color as a must have because they can almost go with everything. The Zara TRF special edition strappy sandal meets all my expectations. The leather strap against the suede material add layers of texture that I love, and the silver buckle gives a soft edgy vibe that tops off this effortless look. Easy as 1, 2, 3.
