N A N E T T E L E P O R ENeon colors are perfect for summer because they make your tan stand out! I love that many amazing designers like DVF, Rag+Bone, and Marc Jacobs have collaborated with Target to make stylish and affordable collections conveniently at your disposition. L'Amour by Nanette Lepore can be found at JC Penny which is pretty great too. I love the cloud like print on this dress and its color combination that remind me of the 70's. Recently I noticed that Iggy Azalea wore this vintage Paloma Picasso belt on her cover of The New Classic and immediately I was inspired to finally wear mine! I so wish my friend was back in town with her beautiful Paloma cross body, if you’re reading this I shall borrow it next time! Nonetheless Tory Burch did the job with this simple handbag and gold detail. I wanted to go for a modern 70’s look with a bit of edge and a girly touch which I feel I accomplished with the accessories. I kept it chic with cat-eye sunnies and Mary Jane patent leather heels, but a bold pink lip tops off this look! M E R C Y S W E A T E RI love yellow because it is bright and a color that screams happy! Embroidered flowers pattern the crinkled center panel of a girly crewneck sweater with ribbed trim. Paired with a royal blue skater skirt, it is a bold and bright summer statement. I decided to leave the top untucked for a drop waist look and swingy skirt. I chose to pair this look with a beige cross body bag and off white pumps to accentuate the bold colors . White cat-eye sunnies are a nice statement to your face, and I topped the look off with a sparkly sapphire ring. I am all about quality over quantity because when products are made well they look better and are more likely to defy the test of time. It is always easy to wear leather in spring or fall when looking for warm clothes that look stylish. Some may say there is no way they would wear leather in the summer, but here is a great way to make it work while keeping cool. I love the teal color of this pencil skirt giving, a fresh look to the common black leather we are used to seeing. A crochet crop top has amazing details adding a feminine texture and letting the wind right through. Gold wedges dazzle with shine complemented with gold bangles and rings. A red handbag is a nice pop of color taking this look to the next level. Keeping it Bold Your Everyday Girl Top: Wet Seal Skirt: Vintage Heels: Seychelle's Bag: Doone
y and Bourke Jeweled Cuff: Anthropologie As you may already know I am all about a fun print for summer, especially on the trending harem pant. Cotton is a great fabric for summer because it is perfectly flowy whereas silk can make you feel hotter and is preferable in fall and spring. When I was a buyer at ReThreads these vintage undeniably amazing harem pants came in, first dibs never felt better. You just do not see things like this anymore and that is one of the many reasons to love vintage clothing and accessories. I had a hard time finding a top for these multi panel pants, each time I tried to wear them I just could not make it work. This is okay because one day it just clicks. The ivory silk camisole has everything I was looking for; a solid color and statement details. I love the deep V cut of the lace that adds just a little more oomph and the back details are a sexy plus. The Felicia ballet flat dazzles with sparkle complemented by rings and reversed Marc Jacobs cuff. Earrings are always important and here is an example that dainty earrings can also make a statement. The blue stones complement the paisley panel while giving a pop of color to your face. I feel like a genie that just came out of the bottle ready to grant your three wishes.
