Hello lovely readers! I hope you had a great weekend and an awesome start to your week thus far! Just as fast as fall arrived it will be gone, that is why I decided to wear this vintage dress! I fell in love with the paisley print and its color combination. This dress is handmade which is amazing because it literally fits like a glove. Brassy and gold jewelry with Pistol on my nails! This weekend was beautiful in Madison, seventies and sunny! To layer you can wear your denim jacket or blazer! I chose a western cut. This is one of my favorite Dooney and Bourke bags because of its unusual closure and neutral color. I recently got these vintage Guess by Georges Marciano Gina western ankle boots from my latest thrifting trip and could not wait to wear them! They are so easy to slip on, which I find important in a shoe and top off this vintage-western look! Have a great rest of your week! Fall is all about it getting colder, windier and darker sooner. This is the perfect weather for a trench coat, it keeps you warm and looks stylish buttoned or unbuttoned. Paired with rag & bone jeans and a crew neck, a simple touch that still is sophisticated. A statement necklace stands out against this simple backdrop. You guys know how much I love cameos and this green one is not the exception. To top it off a beautifully pebbled leather Dooney and Bourke handbag. Fall will be gone before you know it, go look at the colors on a walk with someone! Making sure to keep warm with your favorite hot drink of the season, I cannot get enough vanilla lattes! xoxo, Your Everyday Girl Trench: Burberry Top: rag & bone Jeans: rag & bone Bag: Dooney and Bourke Cameo: Vintage
Hello loves! Fall is in full swing here in Madison, the trees are slowly losing their foliage and the nights keep getting colder. It is truly a beautiful sight to see, and though it may make be a bit sad to know that summer is gone there is a part of me that is already excited for the holidays to come. This outfit is a perfect example of how I am embracing the change of season. As you may already know I love vintage clothing and accessories because it is a healthy way of shopping that helps the environment, and I also do it for the thrill of finding something unique to love! I love this dress because of its feminine cut and the colors are reminiscent of fall, but most of all it takes me back to that old couch Grandma used to have. For a boho vibe I paired the dress with an over-sized honey cardigan, it feels like being wrapped in a blanket and that puts me in my favorite level of comfort. I love my new Jeffrey Campbell Everly booties from (Shoo) so much!! These boots are extremely comfortable and look a bit bad-ass which is something I wanted to incorporate to this look. The accessories add that oomph such as with the Fossil watch that is a perfect color for this season and this vintage Dooney and Bourke AWL crossbody. I topped off this look with a wool hat to keep me warm, which looks quite adorable if I do say so myself. What do you like most about this look? W R A P P E D I N S I L KHello lovely readers! Are you ready for the change of climate? I cannot believe how extremely fast this summer flew by. The feeling is bitter sweet because I love summer, but enjoy fall just as much. Silk is the perfect fabric for a smooth transition from summer's heat to falls chilly breeze. This Deep V dress from Shopbop is a beautiful shade of jade that is perfect for fall and its long sleeves are ideal! I can easily see this dress transitioning into my winter wardrobe with tights, booties, and a vest. I decided not to use the sash that came along with the dress and instead I opted for a vintage gold belt that defines the waist. The skirt has an uneven rounded hem that I am in love with because it gives an illusion of a mini dress. I kept the accessories minimal with the lovely Ball & Chains cuff and simple cameo earrings because this dress is just effortless. To add a touch of color I painted my nails with OPI Cajun Shrimp that matches my vintage Dooney and Bourke perfectly! How is the climate change where you live? Here in Madison it suddenly got really chilly! I hope you have a great rest of the week!
