Fall is all about it getting colder, windier and darker sooner. This is the perfect weather for a trench coat, it keeps you warm and looks stylish buttoned or unbuttoned. Paired with rag & bone jeans and a crew neck, a simple touch that still is sophisticated. A statement necklace stands out against this simple backdrop. You guys know how much I love cameos and this green one is not the exception. To top it off a beautifully pebbled leather Dooney and Bourke handbag. Fall will be gone before you know it, go look at the colors on a walk with someone! Making sure to keep warm with your favorite hot drink of the season, I cannot get enough vanilla lattes! xoxo, Your Everyday Girl Trench: Burberry Top: rag & bone Jeans: rag & bone Bag: Dooney and Bourke Cameo: Vintage

Tartan has been a big trend this year especially during last fall with pleated skirts and flannel shirts. Plaid has been around for a while now and it looks like it’s here to stay, but with this look you'll never want it to go away. To me summer is all about dresses because they are easy to throw on and the wind flows right through just when you need it. The shirt dress is flattering to any figure, adding a polished lady-like look that is always a hit. With this classic red, white, and blue plaid I chose to pair it with white flats and vintage Dooney and Bourke to make this a fresh look. The love birds are an added bonus because sometimes it just works. Styling is kept minimal here since the dress has a busy pattern that we do not want to clash with. I kept my hair out of my face in a pony since I could not get the bun right, but either way it worked out. You can incorporate this trend in multiple ways, all you need is to choose one and make it your own.
