L A D Y G A G ASummerfest AKA 'The Big Gig" is what everyone in Wisconsin and many parts of the U.S. look forward to all winter! The event runs for eleven straight days with over 800 acts and 1,000 performances on the eleven stages for about 900,000 people to enjoy. It easily is the world's largest music festival! Since I received tickets to Lady Gaga on Christmas, I have been awaiting the day to arrive. Here is my Lady Gaga inspired outfit from her look at the 2009 Nokia 5800 launch party in London. I chose this simple black slip as a LBD paired with a statement pump and festive wayfarer shades. To top off this look Gaga's signature hair bow is a must; you can choose to make it a full up-do or a half-do as I did. The great thing about this hairstyle is that it is so versatile and easy to do! Lady Gaga was everything I was hoping for and more! Her amazing vocals exceeded my expectations and beautiful costumes were very fun to see. I was not able to take my camera inside due to restrictions, but I will be reliving the moment over and over in my mind. Gugu for Gaga Your Everyday Girl LBD: DVF Heels: Apt. 9 Sunnies: Summerfest

Summer is never official until you get to the farmers market! The fresh produce, beautiful flowers, and plants are my go-to for their affordable prices, as well as the delicious cheese curds and other goodies. Saturdays are a perfect day to come to Madison; the streets are filled with musicians and a variety of artists as well as many sightseers. This Saturday was more special having both Farmers Market and the annual Cars on State classic car show that John and I both look forward to. Knowing that it is hot out may prevent you from getting out there and enjoying this beautiful thing called: life. This calls for a dress, but not just any dress. Diane Von Furstenberg was calling my name. With its sheer texture the wind flows right through with the breeze that is just effortless. I have not been a fan of the high-low trend(at least not on me) until I put this dress on, I like that it is not as dramatic of a high-low as you would normally see. The unusual print reminds me of some sort of an animal print, which is why I grabbed my tiny turtle sterling silver earrings that I got from the cutest little shop on State Street. I decided to keep my hair natural again and just changed it up by pinning it into what I call a bird’s nest. To the farmers market I wore braided sandals and for a day-to-night look the amazing satin Carolyne sling backs. A vintage cameo makes for the perfect statement ring to top off this boho- chic look.
