All I ever want to do is to stay cuddled up in bed with my layers of blankets. Sadly it seems that each rainy or cloudy day occurs on when you must get up and go to school or work. Here I chose to pair a simple floral print dress and tights to keep me both warm and comfortable while looking like an effort was made. Throw on a cardigan or your favorite oversize sweater to ensure a cozy feel even outside of your bed. Oxfords are really comfortable to walk in and these maroon ones add a small pop of color. I pinned my curls up for a collected look and to get them out of the way. Grab your bag and all the necessaries for a gloomy day. On Wisconsin, Your Everyday Girl TODAY: IN MY BAG

The sun is here, but is it here to stay? We hope for perfect weather throughout the day but we should be dressing in case of the worse. The bright boxy jacket is such a statement of its own and with the right accessories it will be just right. I chose these high-waist skinny jeans to elongate my legs for a leaner look. I like the slight fade of the jeans with a white top which makes this look very fresh and simple on its own. A one strap heel is a must in your closet, they are perfectly simple and in union with the jean help you look even longer which takes just enough away from the jacket. For jewels I also kept it minimal this time with simple studs and a colorful glass ring. I really love these aviators because they seem to pick up the right color such as orange, green, and yellow which is perfect for this look. The nicer it gets out, the more excited I get to dress up in more colorful and exciting prints. Especially being able to mix and match various prints. I love this dress because of how different the prints are but work magically together. The cut is very comfortable and simple with an option of zipping it all the way or you could zip it partly for a little bit of sexy. Pairing shoes was just a matter of seeing if the addition of another similar chevron print would clash I'm glad that was not the case. I really like how classy the heels look right away with the black strap detail and with a turn a fun surprise to your look. This outfit was easy as 1-2-3 a dress, heels, and simple earrings with a ring. I would add a black leather jacket or white blazer if needed, but since it is sunny mirrored sunglasses are my favorite. Everyone knows of that "You can’t mix gold and silver" rule which usually is correct, but not always. Sometimes you may even have an item that has both incorporated, which will be easier to style. Here I chose to wear a white loose top paired with a high waist skinny jean for a casual and comfy feel. So far it is a very simple look, so dress it up with a striped or printed jacket that also adds an extra layer of warmth. I love the double chested buttons that helped me choose gold wedges which I can walk in all day. I cannot get enough of this very cool dart necklace so I felt it was only right to throw it on even though it has both silver and gold. A cross-body is always perfect for going outside; this one also has both gold and silver combined. Since I am breaking the rules I might as well add another shade of metal with my watch. Thankfully the weather has started picking up again after the sudden snowfall; therefore keep a pair of shades handy.
