One of the trends I wanted to try all winter was the men's suit that is trending. I was ecstatic when I rescued this retro jumpsuit from the pits of Dig & Save. Thankfully it is in my size and is in perfect condition without sign of wear or staining. I really like the balance of femininity and menswear because it can make you feel strong and powerful. Nowadays there are many women who are the breadwinner of the family. This shows women are stronger than ever, we can really do anything we want if we set our minds to it. When working with a longer pant keep in mind that you want to keep a tall and lean look. Nude sandals are nice and simple. I love this clutch with its floral embroidery on a black backdrop that gives a feminine touch. I am obsessed with needlepoint style embroidery or most commonly known as "Grandma’s Couch" fabric, this is a technique that dates back thousands of years to ancient Egypt. Any good business woman knows to have a watch handy in any given situation. I chose a skinny black watch because it is feminine and sleek perfect for this polished look. Aviators are pretty universal shape, I believe anyone can pull them off and they are great for blocking the sun and staying mysterious. Red lips usually never go wrong and it is always fun to wear lipstick so grab one you like to top off your look.

Tip: With these large buttons on the sleeves not much jewelry is needed. I added a watch and cameo ring on opposite hands as well as small stud earrings. As the old saying goes, less is more.

I cannot believe how fast this year has gone! It feels like summer was just a couple weeks ago and now there is snow on the ground. Thanksgiving came out of nowhere and just as fast as it came it went. I have not been back home in a couple months so I have been in dire need of some of "Mom's Homemade" cooking! I was not disappointed! This year I am thankful for being blessed in abundance, all my loved ones, maturing and growing up, and all the great memories this year has brought. It Is the first of the Holidays and I wanted to dress up while staying comfortable. I paired this super soft grey turtleneck with this tan corduroy blazer to make this a dressed up look for Thanksgiving. Since I opted out on comfort, my favorite jeans were a must! I decided to edgy it up a bit with combat boots, which also kept my toes nice and warm. This beautiful vintage tie is what I live for! The pendant has a very pretty flower print on it and it iis adjustable for different lengths. You can wear it as a high or low tie as well as a necklace when you lower it all the way down. I decided to straighten my hair to add softness. With my gold rings and boyfriend in hand I was ready for the Thanksgiving Festivities! It was a great Thanksgiving and I hope yours was just as great as mine.
Happy Holidays

Some of the Deliciousness
This turkey was beautiful and delicious! I love my mom for always throwing down in the kitchen! That's something to be thankful for :)
The Stable Skirt from Anthropologie gives me butterflies! It reminds me of my childhood back in the island, seeing the beautiful horses and tropical greenery where I could play all day long! Fashion is way more than just 'clothes' they bring back cherished memories from the good days of our lives.

Pairing Unique Prints
It was a task matching up this gorgeous high-waisted pencil skirt. When you find such a unique and fascinating landscape print, you should pick unique items that all stand out in their own way while making sure to not overshadow the amazing print. It causes the print to catch your eyes instantly.
I worked my way around the skirt,, which has a beautiful variation of fall colors. I wasn't sure of which color to pick for a top, eventually I went with burgundy , though a light wash denim long sleeve would look amazing as well. Then I realized my brand new green suede oxfords would work perfectly for a comfortably classy look. We have rapidly transitioned into fall, so a cover up was a must for the chilly temperature. I was thrilled to find this tan corduroy blazer, not to mention the super cute brown elbow patches! Gold was a must for the jewelry. I chose a delicate necklace with a pop of jade. The earrings I kept simple by choosing studs with a complementary green stone. Adding a brown bangle with gold trimming was the last touch to an amazingly unique look. I kept my hair straight & simple. Kept a natural face and a pop of color with my burgundy lipstick.
