P R E - F A L L These last couple of days I've been in a dark kind of mood with maroon, plum, and navy colors that are ideal for the upcoming fall. I styled this plum silky maxi with a beige halter top keeping in mind it is light for summer with a hint of fall fashion. I normally would not be very inclined to a halter top, but I love how this one fits loosely and comfortably giving a boho vibe. The details are what originally drew me to this top from the delicate floral embroidery to the crochet scalloped trim. Copper details enhance this look adding that shine and texture that was missing. What I love about the maxi skirt is that you can dress it up with heels for the weekend or tone it down with cute sandals. Have a great rest of your week! S U M M E R L O V I N'Lately, all I have been wanting to wear are high waist shorts for their comfortable fit and retro vibe that are ideal for summer. I also have been in a Free People vibe lately which must be since working at Urban Outfitters, here is my girly-gypsy look. This hot pink silk camisole is extremely comfortable and simple with a lace twist that I love, especially since I got it on Maxwell Street Days. These vintage shorts you may have seen me style in the past, I just love the embroidered roses that run along the sides. I layered this thin cardigan that screams fairytale with its scalloped trims and floral details. The accessories take this look to the next level with lots of sterling silver details and pops of turquoise complemented with Oui Madame Essie polish. The Petty Suede Booties from Sam Edelman add a western feel paired with frilly socks for a girly touch. To top off this look I chose a beige Dooney and Bourke bag that adds a nice rugged leather texture and of course round sunnies. Have a great rest of the week! Embroidered flowers pattern the crinkled center panel of a girly crewneck sweater with ribbed trim. Paired with a royal blue skater skirt, it is a bold and bright summer statement. I decided to leave the top untucked for a drop waist look and swingy skirt. I chose to pair this look with a beige cross body bag and off white pumps to accentuate the bold colors . White cat-eye sunnies are a nice statement to your face, and I topped the look off with a sparkly sapphire ring. I am all about quality over quantity because when products are made well they look better and are more likely to defy the test of time. It is always easy to wear leather in spring or fall when looking for warm clothes that look stylish. Some may say there is no way they would wear leather in the summer, but here is a great way to make it work while keeping cool. I love the teal color of this pencil skirt giving, a fresh look to the common black leather we are used to seeing. A crochet crop top has amazing details adding a feminine texture and letting the wind right through. Gold wedges dazzle with shine complemented with gold bangles and rings. A red handbag is a nice pop of color taking this look to the next level. Keeping it Bold Your Everyday Girl Top: Wet Seal Skirt: Vintage Heels: Seychelle's Bag: Doone
