S A B O S K I R TIt is the lovely weekend again, I could not be happier! After working all week, I can finally sleep in and cuddle with my favorite blanket. This dress from Sabo Skirt is extremely comfortable, the crochet details add just enough texture to the neon teal color. Zara always gets it right, especially with the wide heel holographic strappy sandal. I love how the colors bounce off of them. In honor of the weekend I decided to style this chain-mail bag from BCBG Max Azria. At a glance it appears to be a simple yellow cross body, but it has a subtle iridescent finish that is great for this look. Minimalism goes a long way, that's why I kept the jewelry simple with stud earrings and my two favorite silver rings. White framed sunnies add a fun statement to your face and covers the bright and shining sun! What are your weekend plans, and what do you plan on wearing? I hope your weekend is full of glamour! There are times when all you want is to feel like a lady, this calls for pastels, floral, and of course the precious pearls. Here peach is really doing it for me it feels refreshing for summer. The crop top has been a huge trend this year which I am a fan of. In my opinion the crop top looks best styled with anything high-waist just showing the mid-rib area. This silk skirt is my best friend right now; its color, cut, and fabric make it an ideal skirt for me. A neat bun will keep your hair out of the way on a hot day as well as show off your pretty face and pearls. When going for a fresh vibe, neutrals are a nice combination such as the beige bag and off white pumps. To top off this look white cat-eye sunnies are the cherry on top. Tip: Choose a bright polish for your nails, I chose OPI Cajun Shrimp. Your Everyday Girl Top: Urban Outfitters Skirt: Contrarian NY Heels: Nine West Bag: Coach Sunnies: ALDO
We all love them! If you have yet to try one I would suggest a cookies and crème macaroon from Madison Sweets, it’s my favorite. I am all about fun prints expanding from animal prints and actual prints of individual animals to bicycle prints, and of course the classic floral. With its soft shades of pink and mint green ideal for a fresh feel, this macaroon print is perfect for a comfortable transition from sprint to summer. In my opinion the best romper is made of cotton, has a cute print, and flows with the wind. I also love a silk romper for a nicer occasion, but for your everyday comfy romper cotton is the way. I chose to accentuate the pink on this print with a strappy sandal ideal for walking or standing at work. To keep it neutral a beige bag complements this color scheme perfectly, of course it is a Dooney and Bourke bag. A dainty necklace is always great when it sits right at your necklace adding a very delicate look, and sparkly earring and jeweled ring give a little shine that is always nice. If you are a thrifter like I am, then I will assume you are also into vintage. Whether it is the fashion and style, artwork, or furniture there is always something amazing waiting to be found. You just have to get out there and join the adventure. At times it may be difficult to wear such vintage clothing without being too costume-y which I think is great, but there are times when minimalism goes a long way. I have been really into the the 70's style lately, with its bright colors and floral prints. That is why when this top came in to the store, I knew it had to be mine. I love the unusual neckline with floral embroidery as well as the vibrant green. Paired with a white cuffed jean this look is timeless and fresh to look at. A pop of color is always nice, and with these sandals I was able to add all the colors I wanted while also complementing the orange handbag I had in mind. This look is topped off with white cat-eye sunnies and flowers on my ears. Nice long locks parted at the middle seem necessary for any 70's inspired look. By the way how beautiful are these tulips?
