DREAMS DON'T WORK UNLESS YOU DOHello readers, I hope you're having a great week thus far! The sudden chilly weather that hit us here in Madison, came as a surprise. Yesterday was an exception, the sun shined all day and the sky was clear blue. I have been wanting to wear this adorable tee from Maverick Hill for a while now and had to take this gorgeous day as the perfect opportunity. My main goal is to inspire you to do what you love, and be happy. Your style is a reflection of how you feel and in my opinion the way you dress can even change your mood. There are many times when you may not have enough time to put a look together, which is why this top is perfect for me! It took no time to style this top, I really love its shade of pink paired with this baby blue skater skirt. A J Crew statement necklace adds the perfect amount of sparkle paired with tiny pearl earrings. White and black heels lend a chic vibe to this girly look. To top it off a pair of white framed sunnies came in handy for this gorgeous sunny day! Head over to Maverick Hill to find the perfect top for you! Happy Saturday! After a long week it felt like it would never arrive, but now that is here, it is time to loosen up and get dolled up! I am a huge fan of the asymmetrical trend that we have all been seeing lately, now I found the perfect one for me! Shopbop is like heaven on earth because they carry such an amazing amount of designers that I love all in one place, I'm lucky enough to live just a few minutes away which can be dangerous. Finders KEEPERS nailed it on the head with their Coming Home skirt, the print automatically captivates your eyes making a classy and polished statement. I paired it with a solid crop top for a simple black & white look that is a look you can always put together and feel amazing. Via Spiga tops off this look with these black pointy heels that lend an edgy vibe with its silver hardware. What do you think of this look? Have A Great Saturday! xoxo, Your Everyday Girl Top: Popular basics Skirt: Finders KEEPERS Heels: Via Spiga Watch: Ann Klein
W R A P P E D I N S I L KHello lovely readers! Are you ready for the change of climate? I cannot believe how extremely fast this summer flew by. The feeling is bitter sweet because I love summer, but enjoy fall just as much. Silk is the perfect fabric for a smooth transition from summer's heat to falls chilly breeze. This Deep V dress from Shopbop is a beautiful shade of jade that is perfect for fall and its long sleeves are ideal! I can easily see this dress transitioning into my winter wardrobe with tights, booties, and a vest. I decided not to use the sash that came along with the dress and instead I opted for a vintage gold belt that defines the waist. The skirt has an uneven rounded hem that I am in love with because it gives an illusion of a mini dress. I kept the accessories minimal with the lovely Ball & Chains cuff and simple cameo earrings because this dress is just effortless. To add a touch of color I painted my nails with OPI Cajun Shrimp that matches my vintage Dooney and Bourke perfectly! How is the climate change where you live? Here in Madison it suddenly got really chilly! I hope you have a great rest of the week! Hello lovely readers! It's finally Friday! A lot of the times when I put a look together I am looking to feel comfortable and look great! There is no worse fashion experience than when an outfit feels uncomfortable because that is all that will be on your mind while you wear it. This can happen often with vintage items, my advice is always try it on before you purchase. I started putting this look together with this vintage A-line polka dot skirt, it is my favorite shade of blue and very airy which will keep me cool. I love polka dots because it's just a classic print that lends a vintage feel and is very versatile. When I purchased the top from Urban Outfitters, I had no idea I would pair the two together. To keep it simple I chose a small cameo necklace paired with stud earrings and a few sparkly rings. A nude heel felt like the right shade for my mood and Zara adds just a little extra with the added buckle. To top off this look a vintage Fendi bag with subtle stripes is the cherry on top! Have a lovely weekend! Your Everyday Girl Top: Urban Outfitters Skirt: Vintage Heels: Zara Bag: Fendi Sunnies: ALDO
