Making a great outfit is all about the details of the prints and color as well as the different textures and balances. Velvet is always a favorite for its soft texture and fancy look, especially in deep red. When wearing a jacket there are always chances you may want to unbutton it or take it off so I chose to wear a simple white camisole underneath to be prepared. The silk adds a great texture with just enough detail of lace and stripes. Printed pants are one of my favorite trends, they’re so much fun. I love the super skinny cut and how great the print lays. When something that is $30 can look like a $300, it does not get better than that and these pants are it. A pointy toed heel is always nice because they never go out of style and elongate your legs. I walked most of the day with these and they were super comfy. Milkmaid braids are so cute and I actually had never done them before, thanks to my awesome sister for doing my hair and makeup. It is exactly what I wanted and more! Accessorizing is all about the details such as with the jewels on these dainty earrings and simple black cameo. Needless to say the beautiful gold details on this vintage bag, from the strap to the tassels and beaded flowers. Fortunately, I wore this look on a beautiful and sunny day with a stylish pair of Club Master, this look is complete. Always remember where you came from and who you are. Life will take you to many places that will be great and some that may not be so amazing, stay true to yourself and remain a humble person that will help someone in need whether it is in an action or a smile.

Top: Millenium Skirt: Rolla Coster Boots: American Eagle Backpack: Dooney and Bourke Sunglasses: Ray Ban A way to mix up your style is to choose a dark edgy route once in a while. I have been obsessed over velvet and plaid lately but never thought of pairing the two together. I started by throwing a flannel on, having comfort on my mind I figured I would just throw jeans on. Just then I remembered my new velvet skater skirt and figured I might as well find out. Once I tried it on together I loved it. Sheer black tights are much needed here in order to stay warm and to achieve that "darker" look we are aiming for. Combat boots are a must have item in your wardrobe; and studs add that: “Don’t mess with me" attitude. Since it has been sunny lately it is a perfect excuse to bring out your favorite pair of aviators or in my case; club master style. If blue was not already my favorite color, you would think maroon was! It is a perfect color of the season, and must have lipstick shade. Here is a perfect balance of edgy and girly.
