Sweater: BCBG Max Azria Skirt: Vintage Shoes: Very Volatile Purse: Vintage Coach Necklace: DIY under 'Lifestyle' Cuff: Marc Jacobs Belt: Forever 21 Rings: Vintage This winter all I seem to be gravitating towards are blacks and grays. Let’s face it! It can get depressing at some point because all we want is to wear bright colors again! I figured by styling this black cashmere turtle neck and subtle flower print a line would be just a little bit of fun in my look while maintaining warmth and comfort. I love how the cut and print are amazingly slimming and flattering on this skirt, especially with a skinny belt. The vintage coach cross body is perfect for this look because of its classic style and beautiful green leather. I wanted to add a pop of color with maroon oxfords and red cameo necklace. I used two Maybelline lipsticks to achieve a berry plum shade. First I applied #895 "On Fire Red" shade everywhere except on the outline of my lips, then I applied #435 "Plum Effect" on the outline and blended it together. I like to apply a coat of Eos Summer Fruit lip balm before applying lipstick because it keeps my lips hydrated and my lipstick looking fresh. In the end I felt feminine and super warm which is most important when we are experiencing negative double digit temperatures.

Trench: Vintage Burberry Top: H&M Skirt: Vintage Scarf: Burberry Shoes: Gap Gloves: Lauren Ralph Lauren Belt: Coach Tights: Walgreen's This winter has been all about staying stylish without compromising our warmth. There is no better way to feel fabulous than to throw on a beautiful Burberry trench coat. This has to be my most prized possession from in my wardrobe. Paired with the nova check signature cashmere scarf it is magic. A simple beige button up top and a mustard colored skirt is the right combination of basic and corporate necessary for this classy and feminine look. As usual black tights are a must when wearing a skirt or a dress. I added a skinny leather belt at the waist line of the skirt to prevent my skirt from shifting. I am all about the little things and I just love the herringbone print on the flats as well as the small belt buckle. I like the fact that the small leather belt and leather gloves seem to be almost the same shade of mustard as the skirt. Leather gloves are sure to keep your fingers warm and I love the brown braided trimming on these as well as the LRL inscription, like I said it is all about those little details. I always love having my hair straight because it is so much easier to style it, even though it is time consuming I feel I finish faster and faster each time. With simple makeup and a bold lip such as this ruby/wine color is the right shade to complement this entire look as well as the red on the Burberry plaid. The best way to beat the winter is to do it in style. Xoxo, Your Everyday Girl Sweater: Ralph Lauren Top: American Eagle Jeans: Gap Boots: Hunter Necklace: J Crew Bag: Vintage Coach Phone Case: Rilakkuma Winter means snow! Snow often melts and freezes back up while we have to deal with dirty slush in the between. Hunter boots are what you need for any snowy or rainy day. I have no worries about getting my feet or socks wet and I can walk through puddles of slush! I love that the boots dry off without getting damaged as you would if you wore your nice pair of Ugg boots. Hunter boots come in a spectrum of colors and a few different styles, I am sure you would find a perfect pair for you. I love my silver boots because they are fun and letâs face it what girl does not like sparkly things. This is the season for sweater overload and that means layering up. I pretty much love anything from Ralph Lauren whether it is from Polo or Lauren Ralph Lauren, this sweater is no exception. It is made of merino wool which will keep me warm, I also love that the sweater is navy. I prefer when my button ups or sweaters from Ralph Lauren have the initials or a logo embroidered. The logo on this sweater is the traditional polo player and the fact that it is red makes it easy to pair a simple red button up shirt underneath. This cotton button up is extremely soft and makes for the perfect bottom layer for a wool sweater in case of any itchiness. I love the âForever Skinnyâ cut on these jeans, they are a dark wash just how I like it and feel like the perfect everyday skinny jean. Even though I believe white jeans would have worked perfectly with this look I did not feel like wearing white on an ugly day out. This look turned out to be very preppy in the end so why not add lots of sparkle. Stud earrings and a statement necklace or a few is always great when wearing button ups and sweaters. I love wearing multiple rings, but many times it is difficult to match up right rings together and matching gold and silver is not always a good idea. I like how different all these rings are but how well they work together. This very simple vintage Coach cross body bag is the right bag for this look because it is simple and the pocket is great for my cell phone. Your Everyday Girl Purple LayersSweater: J Crew Pants: Gap Shoes: Ecote Bag: Dooney & Bourke Sunglasses: Ray Ban Necklace: J Crew Jacket: Tommy Hilfiger You are on your third day straight of work and you just want to be comfortable but not to the point that you feel like a bum. We have all been there! I decided the comfort and warmth of a wool sweater would be perfect for a long day of work. The bright purple on this sweater is the right amount of pop for a fun look. Black jeggings are a must have in your closet. Jeggings are made of better quality materials which keep you warmer and look more sophisticated than leggings. My black ankle booties are my favorite at the moment because they go well with everything as well as keep my feet warm. With the right accessories nobody will know this look was just thrown together. I love the big jewels on the J Crew necklace because they are very sparkly and lay right at the crew neck of the sweater. With my skinny black belt and sweater tucked in, my figure looks more thin and shapely. I like to wear a watch most of the time and a thin black watch is very subtle which just enough jewelry for a simple edgy look is. You can never go wrong with a Dooney & Bourke bag and as you know I am obviously addicted therefore I just grabbed my mini nylon backpack and threw everything I needed in it. It is nice to change up from the usual handbag because you can just throw it on your back and get going. I always grab a pair of shades just in case of it being too bright outside, especially since the snow reflects most sunlight. What better shades than a pair of Ray Ban?
