Mixing prints is always great but does not always have to be super obvious; it can also be subtle which will make people wonder "What is she wearing?”. I chose to style a striped button up with this wool sweater for just enough layers of warmth without a jacket required. I am obsessed with the subtle floral details on this sweater with the super cute elbow patches and embroidered flowers. Jeans are always my go to when I cannot figure out what to wear in the mornings, mostly because they provide warmth and comfort. These Rag + Bone are exactly what I wanted; the wash is a right balance of dark and light not to mention the patches are an extra fun detail. I decided to stack up the rings and just a pair of simple studs for jewelry. A delicate necklace is always welcomed but this time I saw no need for one. I feel you can never go wrong with a leather bag, especially if they are DB or Coach because they age well and never go out of style. To bring out the green stripes I chose a pair of green mirrored aviators, and gold wedges add just enough shine as well as elongate the entire look. This is a perfect look for a day of work or school!

Having a boyfriend means meeting his family and spending time with them especially on the holidays. I like that my family often celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve and we open gifts at midnight. While in the other hand my boyfriend celebrates on Christmas day. This works out so well because instead of jumping from place to place we can actually spend quality time with each other's families. I am Puerto Rican and my boyfriend is Mexican which is great because we get to enjoy two similar but very different cultures, especially when it comes to food! I have had this beautiful dress in my closet for quite a while and was waiting for the right time to wear it and that time had arrived. First of all this dress is extremely comfortable being a silk dress with a cotton pull over. The delicate flower-like cut outs made it very sweet and feminine. Now the tricky part was to accessorize. Since the dress is grey and a very light dusty pink I was not sure of what I could pair it with. The beautiful J Crew necklace was a perfect start; the amount of bling is perfect while the cut of the necklace is a classic one that sits at the collar bone. I was in a dilemma about wearing these unusual tights as oppose to a basic black. I found that black made this look too dark and while I was unsure of these dusty pink tights I knew they worked better. When I added this purple/grey toned metallic pointy flats it all made sense! Like I often say: Don’t be afraid of trying something new because like I was unsure of wearing these tights, turns out they were exactly what I needed. I wanted to be dressier so since I already had straight hair from the day before, It was a piece of cake to curl it. I kept my makeup simple with some concealer, blush, mascara, and a coral lipstick. By the way my boyfriend and I did not try to match in these last two looks, but it all worked out wonderful. Wishing you a great New Year, -Your Everyday Girl
I cannot believe how fast this year has gone! It feels like summer was just a couple weeks ago and now there is snow on the ground. Thanksgiving came out of nowhere and just as fast as it came it went. I have not been back home in a couple months so I have been in dire need of some of "Mom's Homemade" cooking! I was not disappointed! This year I am thankful for being blessed in abundance, all my loved ones, maturing and growing up, and all the great memories this year has brought. It Is the first of the Holidays and I wanted to dress up while staying comfortable. I paired this super soft grey turtleneck with this tan corduroy blazer to make this a dressed up look for Thanksgiving. Since I opted out on comfort, my favorite jeans were a must! I decided to edgy it up a bit with combat boots, which also kept my toes nice and warm. This beautiful vintage tie is what I live for! The pendant has a very pretty flower print on it and it iis adjustable for different lengths. You can wear it as a high or low tie as well as a necklace when you lower it all the way down. I decided to straighten my hair to add softness. With my gold rings and boyfriend in hand I was ready for the Thanksgiving Festivities! It was a great Thanksgiving and I hope yours was just as great as mine.
Happy Holidays

Some of the Deliciousness
This turkey was beautiful and delicious! I love my mom for always throwing down in the kitchen! That's something to be thankful for :)
The Stable Skirt from Anthropologie gives me butterflies! It reminds me of my childhood back in the island, seeing the beautiful horses and tropical greenery where I could play all day long! Fashion is way more than just 'clothes' they bring back cherished memories from the good days of our lives.

Pairing Unique Prints
It was a task matching up this gorgeous high-waisted pencil skirt. When you find such a unique and fascinating landscape print, you should pick unique items that all stand out in their own way while making sure to not overshadow the amazing print. It causes the print to catch your eyes instantly.
I worked my way around the skirt,, which has a beautiful variation of fall colors. I wasn't sure of which color to pick for a top, eventually I went with burgundy , though a light wash denim long sleeve would look amazing as well. Then I realized my brand new green suede oxfords would work perfectly for a comfortably classy look. We have rapidly transitioned into fall, so a cover up was a must for the chilly temperature. I was thrilled to find this tan corduroy blazer, not to mention the super cute brown elbow patches! Gold was a must for the jewelry. I chose a delicate necklace with a pop of jade. The earrings I kept simple by choosing studs with a complementary green stone. Adding a brown bangle with gold trimming was the last touch to an amazingly unique look. I kept my hair straight & simple. Kept a natural face and a pop of color with my burgundy lipstick.
