As time goes on, leaves continue falling. The weather decreases day and night as we come closer to the Winter Season. It is important to make it a priority to bundle up to step outside. There is nothing more schedule interfering than catching a cold. Layering is a great way of staying warm while showcasing :

FLEXIBILITY
The change of seasons can be very confusing, especially here in Wisconsin. One day it can be very nice and sunny outside and the next it is freezing temperatures with strong winds. Therefore it is merely impossible to choose an outfit to wear. What I like to do is to make an outfit more versatile to be ready for any drastic change in temperature. With this look I first picked a basic turtle neck, paired with my favorite & form fitting jeans to maintain comfort throughout the day. Then I added this great reversible (Brown/Furry) which would make a statement worn either way. I decided on the furry side to add a softer texture to my overall look. My green oxfords as well as maroon belt and cashmere scarf added the perfect amount of color needed for a fall look. I wanted to add texture in all the right places so my python handbag felt like the right bag for the job. Not only did it add an edgy feel but it is ideal for a day of running errands. Last but definitely not least: The AmazingVintage Burberry Trench Coat (as seen on Breakfast at Tiffany's) really took this look to the next level! I first stepped out without it, but decided to take it on hand in case it got a bit chilly, which it did. This is a perfect example of how to make a look work all day long, weather it is sunny in the daytime hours or chilling in the night time. We should always stay stylish while keeping our health a priority. Adding leather gloves and/or earmuffs will add that extra warmth & style we aim for in this season. Accessorize with a dark pair of glasses and gold accents .

The Stable Skirt from Anthropologie gives me butterflies! It reminds me of my childhood back in the island, seeing the beautiful horses and tropical greenery where I could play all day long! Fashion is way more than just 'clothes' they bring back cherished memories from the good days of our lives.

Pairing Unique Prints
It was a task matching up this gorgeous high-waisted pencil skirt. When you find such a unique and fascinating landscape print, you should pick unique items that all stand out in their own way while making sure to not overshadow the amazing print. It causes the print to catch your eyes instantly.
I worked my way around the skirt,, which has a beautiful variation of fall colors. I wasn't sure of which color to pick for a top, eventually I went with burgundy , though a light wash denim long sleeve would look amazing as well. Then I realized my brand new green suede oxfords would work perfectly for a comfortably classy look. We have rapidly transitioned into fall, so a cover up was a must for the chilly temperature. I was thrilled to find this tan corduroy blazer, not to mention the super cute brown elbow patches! Gold was a must for the jewelry. I chose a delicate necklace with a pop of jade. The earrings I kept simple by choosing studs with a complementary green stone. Adding a brown bangle with gold trimming was the last touch to an amazingly unique look. I kept my hair straight & simple. Kept a natural face and a pop of color with my burgundy lipstick.
