9 0 ' s B A B E Summer is here with its hot temperatures, finding something light to keep cool is vital. This razorback tank from Free People is a fresh look to the usually thought of as a work-out tank. I love the floral panel and tie details that give a girly vintage feel. To bring back the 90's anything high waist may work. These light wash shorts are a score with their floral embroidery to complement the subtle floral details on the tank top. There are days where you could need a pick me up, just grab your platforms and go! These lace-up style platforms are extremely comfortable putting me on top of the world; being one to take comfort seriously I could not love these shoes more. Sometimes it feels good to break the rules as I did here with gold necklaces and silver rings, summer often means bolder accessories. Club Master sunnies add a sophisticated look with a vintage vibe which is sort of mysterious, great for your face I think. Somehow Dooney and Bourke finds a way to complete my look almost every day. This mini bucket quickly became a favorite in my collection, being black leather it adds an edgy look I love and its size is just adorable! It is Spring and there is no going back now, time to bring out those shorts and dresses for a stroll. Summer to me is about being outside for bonfires, carnivals, and just enjoying the great outdoors. High waist shorts are great as long as they are a great fit for your shape. These I actually cut myself and they turned out pretty great if I do say so myself. Crop tops go perfectly with high waist shorts but since it is not quite summer yet I decided on a striped knit tank top and tucked it in. Spring nights usually mean the temperature drops so keep in mind to dress for both warm weather and for that chilly breeze at night. These cardigans from J Crew are my favorite; they are conveniently thin while still keeping you very warm because they are knit wool. The stripes on the tank are navy so I chose to use my navy Dooney and Bourke and leather sandals. Last but not least: sunglasses! The best outfits occur in the spur of the moment and this is one I will definitely re-wear over and over. I usually am seeking for comfort on an everyday basis and a romper can do just that if it is the right cut. This vintage romper is a favorite because of its vibrant floral print that is perfect for any summer day. I’m really enjoying the cut of this romper especially the way it sways which will give an illusion of wearing a dress. Since mustard is the least visible color in the print I decided to add a skinny belt to give structure and a pop of color. Booties are always a go to when seeking comfort, the small heel add just enough height to get you through a busy day. I kept it neutral with beige so that the print will stand out even more. First I chose a light wash denim jacket but, at the last second I decided to throw on this vintage floral needlepoint style vest, the moment I did everything clicked. Cameo over load for jewels felt like a must, with two different cameo necklaces and small cameo earrings previously seen on Lady In Blue. This very 70's look is topped off with matching Dooney and Bourke crossbody, round sunnies, and a single turquoise ring. Bag: Dooney and Bourke Sunnies: Shoe Carnival Since it is that time of year again when the weather is always changing, we ought to take advantage of every sunny day we get. Here is a very cute and comfortable easy summer look. High-waist shorts are a summer’s go to piece that literally has never gone out of style. I love a vintage cut because the fabric sways beautifully and the print on these is a perfect combination of floral, chevron, and stripes that I’m really enjoying. To bring out the flowers I chose a basic tan crop top and paired with my old sandals I have all the comfort I need for a sunny day out. Keep a pair of sunglasses in your bag for when it gets bright out. I love my new vintage Dooney and Bourke because I have been wanting a navy one for a while and finally got it in almost perfect condition. Since jewels are very minimal here I threw on my watch for the shine that was missing.
