Keeping it Bold

I am all about quality over quantity because when products are made well they look better and are more likely to defy the test of time. It is always easy to wear leather in spring or fall when looking for warm clothes that look stylish. Some may say there is no way they would wear leather in the summer, but here is a great way to make it work while keeping cool. I love the teal color of this pencil skirt giving, a fresh look to the common black leather we are used to seeing. A crochet crop top has amazing details adding a feminine texture and letting the wind right through. Gold wedges dazzle with shine complemented with gold bangles and rings. A red handbag is a nice pop of color taking this look to the next level. Keeping it Bold Your Everyday Girl Top: Wet Seal Skirt: Vintage Heels: Seychelle's Bag: Doone

As you may already know I am all about a fun print for summer, especially on the trending harem pant. Cotton is a great fabric for summer because it is perfectly flowy whereas silk can make you feel hotter and is preferable in fall and spring. When I was a buyer at ReThreads these vintage undeniably amazing harem pants came in, first dibs never felt better. You just do not see things like this anymore and that is one of the many reasons to love vintage clothing and accessories. I had a hard time finding a top for these multi panel pants, each time I tried to wear them I just could not make it work. This is okay because one day it just clicks. The ivory silk camisole has everything I was looking for; a solid color and statement details. I love the deep V cut of the lace that adds just a little more oomph and the back details are a sexy plus. The Felicia ballet flat dazzles with sparkle complemented by rings and reversed Marc Jacobs cuff. Earrings are always important and here is an example that dainty earrings can also make a statement. The blue stones complement the paisley panel while giving a pop of color to your face. I feel like a genie that just came out of the bottle ready to grant your three wishes. Rory Beca quickly became a phenomenon after her first collection in summer 2006. She features vintage-inspired, wearable fashions with a feminine edge for styles that are endlessly chic. The Emilion Roset dress is no exception; its floral crocheted details lend a vintage feel to the structured bodice. The elastic band gives a casual vibe that says "I might just stop at the beach" and the shirttail hem finishes the silhouette. This dress feels like a dream it is just effortless and extremely comfortable needless to say white is a breath of fresh air. To complement this detailed dress less accessories will give you more. The Rebecca Minkoff Bettina sandal in rose gold are the perfect pop of shine that will be sure to get you noticed on any summer day. Lately I can't seem to get enough of statement jewelry such as the chunky rings seen here and gold cuff from Marc Jacobs. There is just something about Marc Jacobs jewelry that I love. Something old seems right when wearing white; in this case I chose a dainty cameo necklace and small vintage Coach Leather crossbody bag. S U M M E R F R E S HSummer is all about staying and feeling fresh aside from getting to go outdoors and enjoying the beauty of nature. A summer white look to me is all about finding the perfect white sundress. What I look for in a dress is a comfortable fit; always lift your arm when trying on a dress to make sure the sleeves are also comfortable for the long run. I love embroidery details such as the ones on this dress, from the subtle trim on the sleeves to the chest and scalloped trim. Embroidery adds a delicate femininity as well as a vintage feel. Strappy sandals are ideal in any wardrobe when you need a simple heel that is delicate and elongates your legs. These Joie sandals add the perfect pop of color for this fresh look; with its wooden heel it adds a perfect earthy texture for summer. Minimal accessories are necessary since the dress is very detailed all around. Turquoise is a fresh shade of blue ideal for a fresh summer look, a cuff and a couple of rings are flawless with my leftover polish from my last shoot(OPI: Pandamonian Pink). A simple diamond necklace is just a little sparkle that I seem to always need, as well as sparkly studs. At this time of the year it is extremely humid out and there is no point in straightening your hair, embrace those waves and curls. This look could not be finished without a white Dooney and Bourke, now that I have a Dillen wristlet I can switch from the purse when going out!
