P R E - F A L L These last couple of days I've been in a dark kind of mood with maroon, plum, and navy colors that are ideal for the upcoming fall. I styled this plum silky maxi with a beige halter top keeping in mind it is light for summer with a hint of fall fashion. I normally would not be very inclined to a halter top, but I love how this one fits loosely and comfortably giving a boho vibe. The details are what originally drew me to this top from the delicate floral embroidery to the crochet scalloped trim. Copper details enhance this look adding that shine and texture that was missing. What I love about the maxi skirt is that you can dress it up with heels for the weekend or tone it down with cute sandals. Have a great rest of your week! WE MAY NEVER BE ROYALS...BUT WE CAN DRESS LIKE IT!Some days a girl just feels like putting on a cute outfit and dancing all night long. Thank God the weekend is here and what better time to dress up than on a lovely summer Saturday. The Eternity Romper really has all you need for a going-out look. The sheer lace is a romantic contrast to crisp faille on this multi-texture romper from Lover, which gains a vintage element from the ruffled high collar. Knife pleats detail the shorts, and the hidden zip secures the sheer mesh back for a sexy finish. The lace details captivate your eyes, which is why I chose very precise and minimal styling. Pearl stud earrings lends a feminine touch that complement the Oui Madame Essie nail polish I cannot seem to get enough of. Every girl needs a basic strappy sandal in her wardrobe, but since we cannot have them all, I would recommend a nude color as a must have because they can almost go with everything. The Zara TRF special edition strappy sandal meets all my expectations. The leather strap against the suede material add layers of texture that I love, and the silver buckle gives a soft edgy vibe that tops off this effortless look. Easy as 1, 2, 3. I am all about quality over quantity because when products are made well they look better and are more likely to defy the test of time. It is always easy to wear leather in spring or fall when looking for warm clothes that look stylish. Some may say there is no way they would wear leather in the summer, but here is a great way to make it work while keeping cool. I love the teal color of this pencil skirt giving, a fresh look to the common black leather we are used to seeing. A crochet crop top has amazing details adding a feminine texture and letting the wind right through. Gold wedges dazzle with shine complemented with gold bangles and rings. A red handbag is a nice pop of color taking this look to the next level. Keeping it Bold Your Everyday Girl Top: Wet Seal Skirt: Vintage Heels: Seychelle's Bag: Doone
y and Bourke Jeweled Cuff: Anthropologie There is nothing I love more than enjoying ice cream on a hot summer day. I have a few favorites from chocolate chip, butter pecan, and the classic Neapolitan. When I saw this swan pleat jumpsuit I could only think of ice cream. The pink, vanilla, and chocolate color-block adds playful volume to an otherwise structured suit. Classic pumps elongate your legs while the nude patent leather complements the hidden chocolate panel adding a shiny texture. A sequined bag adds all the shine and sparkle that is missing in this simply chic look. Simple pearl stud earrings top off this look that is perfect for a day in the 'Windy City'.
