Fun PrintsSweater: Old Navy Skirt & Necklace: J Crew Flats: Cole Haan Bag: Dooney and Bourke There is nothing better than an actual animal print whether it is horses, cats, or birds I cannot get enough. When a cute print is on a sweater it is the best of both worlds: Cute & Comfort. When working with a print you should make it the focal point of your look. I decided to wear a black skirt because it is the least color seen on the sweater and will really complement the print. The subtle ruching detail on the waist of the skirt gives me that extra texture that I want. The skirt and opaque tights make are starting to make this a very dark look, grab lighter shoes to brighten the mood. There is not much need for an under shirt because it looks more effortless without, but I love a statement necklace! Sparkly stud earrings and this beige and jeweled braided necklace give me that wow factor and sparkles with every move. This beautiful vintage Dooney just arrived yesterday and I am so happy it did because it is the right size and perfect color to complement the fox. Your hair can be done to your preference; I chose to bun it up and keep it out of the way. I decided to not wash it this morning without having to wait on drying time. I made sure some curls would pop out and pinned them slightly so they stay in place, add hairspray and you are set! My Spring Break officially starts: NOW! Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow! Your Everyday Girl P.S. I just want to say "Thank You" to all my viewers for following my blog. You have helped me become more confident and now I am not as shy when taking pictures in public, you've helped me conquer my fear! I appreciate each and everyone of you.

With the sun barely peeking through the clouds, everyone seems to have the winter blues! I am all about denim on denim, must be because my favorite color is blue. Therefore I am all for this all blue look. Start off with a light wash denim button up and layer a navy cashmere crew neck with it. Here you probably could go with any wash of denim but I prefer dark wash skinny jeans, fold the bottoms for an extra hint of texture. Now you may think it is too much blue, but with the right accessories this will be an outfit to remember. I usually try to pair shoes as soon as my outfit is on and go from there. I chose white flats with a pop of color and cute embroidery which will brighten your look. I like to button my button up all the way up which will make a statement necklace more visible. Pearls will turn any look into something classy and sophisticated. This baby blue cameo brooch complements the glamorous pearls making this a perfect statement combination. With my sapphire ring and a baby blue Dooney on hand, this look is complete and the winter blues went right out the door. Add an extra layer of warmth with a faux fur vest for a walk around the city. CASHMEREHere is a way to pair a simple solid sweater to make a very well put together look. My motto is: Any day is a cashmere kind of day. Cashmere has been around for thousands of years, which I thank God for! If it were up to me, every sweater in the world would be made of cashmere. By now you should understand my obsession of the fabric, mostly because of the softness and warmth that it gives. This green plaid skirt is actually made of wool and makes for a perfect duo with the black tights. Depending on how chilly it may get you can wear a silk camisole underneath for even more comfort and warmth. Accessorizing is crucial in every outfit you put together, whether you go all out or keep it minimal. The maroon oxfords are my go-to when it comes to a closed toe shoe that adds texture. You can choose a delicate necklace as I did and top it off with a hat of your choice or you could just add a statement necklace. Keep warm and stay stylish! Sweater: J Crew Top: Lauren Ralph Lauren Jeans: Hudson Flats: Cole Haan Bag: Dooney and Bourke Scarf: Vintage The weather has been slowly changing here in Madison! Wootwoot!! This reminds me I should probably wear my sweaters now before it gets too warm for them and it is time for shorts and dresses! Spring break is here so perfect timing for a SWEATER GUIDE! This week I will show you how to pair and choose different sweater styles! I will begin with this argyle print crew neck sweater. Pair it with a solid top underneath and a dark wash skinny jean in order to make the pattern stand out. Always work around the colors incorporated on the patterns. I paired this beige and tan cross body for an easy on-the-go bag needless to say it’s a vintage Dooney. Tie a fancy silk scarf to your bags for an extra touch of “something sweet”. I have been wearing all my booties and lace ups for what seems like too long and since the weather is changing, it is time to bring out the flats. These Cole Haan flats are actually Nike Air which blows my mind how comfortable they feel throughout the day! With a delicate necklace and ring this look is complete! You can do your hair as you wish; here I kept it natural which is the quickest hairstyle I can accomplish on any day. Happy Spring! Your Everyday Girl P.S. Grab a blazer or jacket to throw on later on the day when it gets chilly again.
